Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
You'll explore and learn at Turku Castle and Luostarinmaen Kasityolaismuseo. Visiting Kurjenrahka National Park and The Archipelago Trail will get you outdoors. Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Temppeliaukio Church. For shopping fun, head to Market Square Kauppatori or Hakaniemi Market. Pack the 2nd (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral, get engrossed in the history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum, stop by Digelius Music, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali).
