Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. Get a sense of the local culture at Temppeliaukio Church and Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali). When in Helsinki, make a side trip to see Nuuksio National Park in Espoo, approximately Espoo away. There's much more to do: wander the streets of Katajanokka, stop by Ullanlinna, admire the masterpieces at Taidekoti Kirpila, and pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Start off your visit on the 16th (Mon): explore the venue of The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos, then pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, and then see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 21st (Sat), get engrossed in the history at Arktikum and then take a memorable tour with Feelapland. On the next day, make a trip to Santa Claus Village, then see Santa Claus Office, then examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church.
