An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Go for a jaunt from Levi to Kittila to see Lapland Hotels SnowVillage about 46 minutes away. Spend the 20th (Mon) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's still lots to do: bet on your favorite at Icekarting Levi, fly down the slopes at Kids' Land, stop by Inghams Mini Husky Experience, and make a trip to Giewont Husky Adventures.

Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Venture out of the city with trips to Inari (Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus & Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center). There's lots more to do: hit the slopes at Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort, trek along Urho Kekkonen National Park, stop by Hippupuoti Gift Shop, and examine the collection at Gold Prospector Museum.
