Pyhatunturi

Kick off your visit on the 4th (Wed): hit the slopes at Pyhatunturi and then explore the striking landscape of Pyha-Luosto National Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: view the masterpieces at Museum - Gallery Alariesto, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Sodankyla, then do some two-wheel cruising with Luosto Adventures, and finally look for all kinds of wild species at Kopara Reindeer Park.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church and Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church. Step out of the city life by going to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Lemmenjoki National Park. When in Inari, make a side trip to see Gold Prospector Museum in Tankavaara, approximately Tankavaara away. And it doesn't end there: experience rural life at Inari Reindeer Farm, see the interesting displays at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, and pause for some serene contemplation at Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
On the 9th (Mon), visit Ounasjoki - River for activities, explore the landscape on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort, and then experience rural life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get a dose of the wild on Torassieppi Reindeer Farm & Cottages and then join the crowd at Icekarting Levi.

Traveling by car from Inari to Levi takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 0°C, and evening lows to -10°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Tue) so you can drive to Rovaniemi.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy and Fishing Charters & Tours. Get a sense of the local culture at German Soldier s Cemetery and Rovaniemi Local History Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Rovaniemi side-trips: Korouoma Canyon (in Posio) and Tornio Golf (in Tornio).
