An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Step out of the city life by going to Safaris and Tatuka Reindeerfarm. Step off the beaten path and head to Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy and Auttikongas. Next up on the itinerary: stroll through Napapiirin Porofarmi, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, stroll the grounds of German Soldier s Cemetery, and don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village.
