Though technically its own city, Vantaa is considered by many to be a Helsinki suburb, and it is where most visitors land when they fly to Finland.
Explore Vantaa's surroundings by going to Ainola - The Home of Aino and Jean Sibelius (in Jarvenpaa), Kotka (Sapokka Water Garden, Varissaari - Fort Elisabeth, &more) and Espoo (Nuuksio National Park & Arctic Expedition). Next up on the itinerary: get curious at Heureka, identify plant and animal life at Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto, admire the landmark architecture of Pyhan Laurin kirkko, and explore the world behind art at Halosenniemi Museum.

To see maps, more things to do, photos, and more tourist information, use the Vantaa route maker tool.
