Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Go for a jaunt from Helsinki to Espoo to see Nuuksio National Park about 48 minutes away. Pack the 28th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 31st (Mon): find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, enjoy some diversion at Santa Claus Office, and then make a trip to Santa Claus Village. On the 1st (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, take an exotic tour of a safari tour, then get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, and finally make a trip to Lordi's Square.

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Change things up with these side-trips from Levi: Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park (in Muonio) and Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila). Spend the 2nd (Wed) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.
