An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Sun): stop by Your Piece Of Finland, get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, get lost in a book at Rovaniemi City Library, then see Santa Claus Office, and finally get in on the family fun at Santa Claus Village. Here are some ideas for day two: snap pictures at Lumberjack's Candle Bridge, Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell, then find something for the whole family at SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus, and finally make a trip to Lordi's Square.

On the 19th (Thu), ski along the peaceful trails at Levi Ski Resort.
