Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Go for a jaunt from Helsinki to Espoo to see Nuuksio National Park about 48 minutes away. The adventure continues: brush up on your military savvy at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Korkeasaaren Elaintarha, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), and pause for some serene contemplation at Temppeliaukio Church.
