Seattle, USA to Helsinki is an approximately 15-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and ferry. You'll lose 10 hours traveling from Seattle to Helsinki due to the time zone difference. Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Levi Ski Resort and Kid's Land. Step out of Levi with an excursion to Snow Village in Kittila--about 46 minutes away. There's lots more to do: admire all the interesting features of Ice Karting Levi, take an exotic tour of a safari tour, look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental, and don't miss a visit to LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Gallery.

Getting from Tampere to Levi by combination of flight and bus takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of train, flight, and bus; or drive. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Tampere in January, with highs in Levi at 15°F and lows at -1°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Rovaniemi.

Rovaniemi

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Wed): see Santa Claus Office, then see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, then stop by LAURI, and finally get in on the family fun at Santa Claus Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell, take an in-depth tour of Arktikum, and then explore and take pictures at Tatuka Palvelut.
