Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Pack the 26th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. Next up on the itinerary: learn about all things military at Fortress of Suomenlinna, get to know the fascinating history of The Esplanadi Park, make a trip to Senate Square, and admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria.

Seattle, USA to Helsinki is an approximately 15-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and ferry. You'll lose 10 hours traveling from Seattle to Helsinki due to the time zone difference. Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Sat): get lost in a book at Turku City Library, then stroll through Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, then explore the historical opulence of Turku Castle, and finally have fun at Moomin World.
