Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Go for a jaunt from Helsinki to Espoo to see Nuuksio National Park about 48 minutes away. There's still lots to do: explore the historical opulence of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temppeliaukio Church, pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, and admire the masterpieces at Kansallisgalleria.

Vaasa is a city on the west coast of Finland. Take a break from Vaasa with a short trip to Saltkaret in Mustasaari, about 40 minutes away. Spend the 15th (Tue) among the memorable landscape of Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage Site.
