Daughter of the Baltic
Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.You'll discover tucked-away gems like Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Finnish Aviation Museum. Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Helsinki Cathedral are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Change things up with a short trip to Inkoon kirkko in Inkoo (about 52 minutes away). Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Lappeenranta Fortress and Maritime Centre Vellamo. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Salpa Line Museum and St. John's Church.
