Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Shop till you drop at Hakaniemi Market and Okra. Explore hidden gems such as Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Nuuksio National Park. Step out of Helsinki to go to Kotka and see Maritime Centre Vellamo, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. There's lots more to do: explore the historical opulence of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, learn more about the world around you at Natural History Museum (Luonnontieteellinen Museo), get engrossed in the history at The National Museum of Finland, and admire the striking features of Temppeliaukio Church.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Turku Castle and Turku Cathedral. Your inner history buff will appreciate Old Rauma and Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Vapriikin Museokeskus and Laukko Manor. Head to Haihara Art Centre and Ideaparkfor plenty of shopping.
