An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
On the 23rd (Sun), don't miss a visit to Lordi's Square, see exotic creatures in open habitats at a safari tour, pause for some serene contemplation at Rovaniemi Church, then look for gifts at Kauppakeskus Sampokeskus, and finally engage your brain at Pilke Science Centre.
