Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Start off your visit on the 24th (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry and then take a stroll through Stromforsin ruukki. On the 25th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: head off the coast to Lehman, trek along Santalahti Nature Trail, and then take a stroll through Linden Esplanade.

Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
On the 26th (Wed), admire the sheer force of Imatra Waterfall, then step off the mainland to explore Lammassaari Island, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Lempukka Beach. Here are some ideas for day two: stroll through Malonsaari, pause for some serene contemplation at Taipalsaaren kirkko, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Saimaa Canal.

Kick off your visit on the 1st (Mon): get outside with Lemmenjoki National Park.
