Kotka

Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. On the 17th (Mon), take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, make a trip to Linden Esplanade, then identify plant and animal life at Arboretum Mustila, and finally delve into the lush surroundings at Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area. Here are some ideas for day two: hike along Santalahti Nature Trail, then walk around Riverside Park, and then steep yourself in history at Stromforsin Ruukki.
