Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Start off your visit on the 23rd (Mon): head off the coast to Haapasaari Island, thenlet the kids burn off some steam at Katariina Seaside Park, and then take in nature's colorful creations at Sapokka Water Garden. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 24th (Tue): hike along Santalahti Nature Trail, thencontemplate the long history of Stromforsin Ruukki, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry.

Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and The National Museum of Finland. When in Helsinki, make a side trip to see Porvoo Old Town in Porvoo, approximately Porvoo away. Pack the 31st (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park.
