An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.

Porvoo

Porvoo, one of Finland's oldest and prettiest towns, boasts cobbled streets, famous red-brick warehouses, and a charming river.
On the 25th (Thu), stop by Riimikko, explore the striking landscape at Hiidenkirnut, and then don't miss a visit to Stromforsin Ruukki. On the next day, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Ruotsinpyhtaa, admire the masterpieces at Jarvenpaan Taidemuseo, and then step off the mainland to explore Kaunissaari.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Visit Aurlahti Beach and Aurinkolahti Beach for some beach relaxation. Step off the beaten path and head to Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Katajanokka.
