Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Old Market Hall and Kauppakeskus Jumbo. When in Helsinki, make a side trip to see Nuuksio National Park in Espoo, approximately Espoo away. There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, buy something for everyone on your list at Kamppi Shopping Centre, shop like a local with ARTag Gallery, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali).

Awao, Philippines to Helsinki is an approximately 28-hour combination of car and flight. The time zone changes from Philippine Standard Time to Eastern European Standard Time, which is usually a -6 hour difference. Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.

On the 13th (Wed), ski along the peaceful trails at Levi Ski Resort. On the 14th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: fly down the slopes at Kids' Land, then look for gifts at Elan Ski Shop & Rental, then join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, and finally get your game on at G2 ICEKARTING.
