Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to SantaPark - the Home Cavern of Santa Claus and Ranua Zoo. There's much more to do: make a trip to Santa Claus Village, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church, let the kids burn off some steam at Angry Birds Park, and see Santa Claus Office.
