Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova and Kansallisgalleria. You'll explore and learn at Sinebrychoff Art Museum and EMMA - Espoo Museum of Modern Art. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Christmas House Santa and Santa's House of Snowmobiles. You'll discover tucked-away gems like LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier and Science Centre Pilke. Go for a jaunt from Rovaniemi to Ranua to see Ranua Zoo about 1 hour away. Discover out-of-the-way places like Jemes Sport and Icekarting Levi. Museum-lovers will appreciate LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Gallery and Samiland. Take a break from Levi with a short trip to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage in Kittila, about 46 minutes away. Spend the 8th (Sat) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort.
