An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Ounasvaaran Hiihtokeskus Oy and Feelapland. Step out of Rovaniemi with an excursion to Icebreaker Sampo in Kemi--about 1h 45 min away. And it doesn't end there: Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell, try your luck at Feel Vegas - Club Rovaniemi, stroll the grounds of German Soldier s Cemetery, and get lost in a book at Rovaniemi City Library.

Copenhagen, Denmark to Rovaniemi is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Copenhagen to Rovaniemi. Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Step out of the city life by going to Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm and Kids' Land. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Levi: Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park (in Muonio) and Seven Fells Up (in Akaslompolo). Outdoor pursuits--ranging from cross-country skiing and snowmobiling to reindeer safaris and chasing Northern Lights--draw the largest number of tourists to Saariselka.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church. Escape the urban bustle at Urho Kekkonen National Park and Saariselka Ski & Sport Resort.
