An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.

Kouvola is a town and municipality in southeastern Finland. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Linden Esplanade and Main Building of Military School. Escape the urban bustle at Santalahti Nature Trail and Riverside Park. Venture out of the city with trips to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (in Kotka), Directions Lahden historiallinen Museo (in Lahti) and Vaaksy Canal (in Asikkala). On the 1st (Sun), spend an exhilarating day on the slopes at Mielakka Ski Center. It doesn't end there: look for all kinds of wild species at Arboretum Mustila.
