Joensuu is a city and municipality in North Karelia in the province of Eastern Finland. Explore Joensuu's surroundings by going to Old Mine Mining Museum (in Outokumpu), Tohmajarven kirkko (in Tohmajarvi) and Ilomantsi (Parppeinvaaran Runokyla & Mohko Ironworks Museum). There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Botania - Botanical Garden and Tropical Butterfly Garden, make a trip to Sculpture Susi Kosiomatkalla, enjoy the sand and surf at Honkaniemi Beach, and stroll through Utra Beach.
