An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.

Koli National Park

Although many Koli National Park tours revolve around the majestic natural landscape, there are still plenty of things to see and do for those pursuing culture and heritage.
Get out of town with these interesting Koli National Park side-trips: New Valamo Monastery (in Heinavesi) and Sculpture Susi Kosiomatkalla (in Joensuu). There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Pielinen, take in panoramic vistas at Rasavaara Observation tower, stroll through Paha-Koli Hill, and hike along Akka-Koli Hill.

Kotka

Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland.
