Get out of town with these interesting Levi side-trips: Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila) and Safaris (in Akaslompolo). Spend the 13th (Wed) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's lots more to do: join the crowd at Icekarting Levi, stop by Elan Ski Shop & Rental, fly down the slopes at Yllas Ski Resort, and get your game on at Kids' Land.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
