Turku

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
On the 7th (Mon), enjoy the sand and surf at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna, have fun at Moomin World, and then trek along The Archipelago Trail. Here are some ideas for day two: get lost in a book at Turku City Library, then explore the galleries of Turku Castle, then browse the exhibits of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, and finally steep yourself in history at Turku Cathedral.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Wed): kick back and relax at Rauhaniemi Beach and then kick back and relax at Suolijarvi Beach. On the next day, pause for some serene contemplation at Holy Cross Church, examine the collection at Museo Militaria, and then step into the grandiose world of Hame Castle.
