Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Start off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): let the kids burn off some steam at Katariina Seaside Park, take an in-depth tour of Langinkoski Imperial Fishing Lodge Museum, then see the interesting displays at Maritime Centre Vellamo, and finally stroll around Sapokka Water Garden. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Wed): don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Village, then don't miss a visit to Santa Claus Office, then hit the best photo ops around with an inspiring photography tour, and finally identify plant and animal life at Poro Farmi. Step out of Tampere to go to Valkeakoski and see Visavuori, which is approximately 36 minutes away. Spend the 30th (Sat) exploring the fascinating underwater world at Sarkanniemi Theme Park.
