Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Mannerheim Museum. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Finnish Aviation Museum and Sinebrychoff Art Museum. Change things up with a short trip to Inkoon kirkko in Inkoo (about 52 minutes away). Stockholm, Sweden to Helsinki is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry and train; or do a combination of ferry and bus.
