Step off the beaten path and head to Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Nuuksio National Park. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Helsinki Cathedral. Step out of Helsinki to go to Porvoo and see Cathedral of Porvoo, which is approximately 48 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Temppeliaukio Church, explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria, contemplate the long history of Mannerheim Museum, and get to know the fascinating history of The Esplanadi Park.
