Rock Church and Katajanokka are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore and learn at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Kansallisgalleria. Take a break from Helsinki with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo, about 46 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, appreciate the extensive heritage of The Esplanadi Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), and steep yourself in history at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum.

Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Kick off your visit on the 14th (Wed): tour the pleasant surroundings at Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area, then identify plant and animal life at Arboretum Mustila, then take a stroll through Linden Esplanade, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Keep things going the next day: trek along Santalahti Nature Trail, then stroll around Riverside Park, and then wander the streets of Stromforsin ruukki.
