Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Appreciate the collections at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Galerie Forsblom. Step out of the city life by going to Bellevue Beach and Nuuksio National Park. Take a break from Helsinki with a short trip to Inkoon kirkko in Inkoo, about 52 minutes away. There's much more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, don't miss a visit to Old Market Hall, pause for some photo ops at Unexpected Visitor Sculpture (Odottamaton Vieras), and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral.

Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia to Helsinki is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Traveling from Skopje to Helsinki, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. While traveling from Skopje, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Helsinki, ranging from highs of 3°C to lows of -3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Turku.

Turku

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Turku Castle and Ett Hem Museum. Visiting Ispoinen Beach and Sauna and Bike Rental - by Carfield will get you outdoors. Change things up with these side-trips from Turku: Ruokapuoti Lumo (in Rauma) and Mathildedalin Kylapanimo (in Salo). Next up on the itinerary: buy something for everyone on your list at Kauppakeskus Mylly, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Turku Cathedral, admire the landmark architecture of Kuusisto Manor, and view the masterpieces at Turun Taidehalli.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Head to Jemes Sport and LUVATTUMAA - Levi Ice Galleryfor some retail therapy. Get some cultural insight at Sarestoniemi Museum and Keimioniemi Fishing Cabins. Step out of Levi to go to Muonio and see Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park, which is approximately 58 minutes away. There's lots more to do: get interesting insight from Levi Ski Resort, identify plant and animal life at Santa"s Cottage & Pet Farm, and stroll through Yllas Ski Resort.

Fly from Turku to Levi in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Turku in December, expect Levi to be slightly colder, temps between -6°C and -15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Tampere.

Finland's third largest city, Tampere boasts an array of cultural offerings and a lively music scene.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Vitikkala Manor and Galleria Ronga. Appreciate the collections at Laukko Manor and Sarkanniemi Theme Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Pori (Yyteri Beach & Pori Art Museum). In December, Tampere is somewhat warmer than Levi - with highs of 0°C and lows of -6°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 4th (Sat) to allow time for travel back home.
