Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Turku Castle and Turku Cathedral are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from the city and head to Teijo National Park and Kurjenrahka National Park. There's more to do: get lost in a book at Turku City Library and kick back and relax at Vepsa Island.

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. On the 5th (Sun), examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, then experience rural life at Inari Reindeer Farm, and then wander the wide-open spaces of Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 6th (Mon): trek along Juutua Nature Trail and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church.

Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Kansallisgalleria. Get in touch with nature at Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Hietaranta Beach. Step out of Helsinki with an excursion to Arboretum Mustila in Elimaki--about 1h 40 min away. There's much more to do: explore the historical opulence of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, hunt for treasures at Market Square Kauppatori, cool off at The Swimming Stadium, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral.
