Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Turku Castle and Turku Cathedral are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from the city and head to Teijo National Park and Vepsa Island. Go for a jaunt from Turku to Poytya to see Kurjenrahka National Park about 46 minutes away. It doesn't end there: browse the collection at Turku City Library.
