Step off the beaten path and head to Aurlahti Beach and Paavolan Tammi. Get outdoors at Hietaranta Beach and Norman Travels. Next up on the itinerary: step into the grandiose world of Sea Fortress Suomenlinna, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), admire the landmark architecture of Temppeliaukio Church, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Helsinki Cathedral.

Antwerp, Belgium to Helsinki is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train, car, and ferry. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Antwerp to Helsinki. Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church as well as Jytky Hysky Sled Dog Camp. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Lemmenjoki National Park and Reindeer Farm Petri Mattus. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church and relax in the rural setting at Tuula's Reindeer.
