Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Get a sense of the local culture at Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum and Cathedral of Porvoo. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Kansallisgalleria and Katajanokka. Change things up with a short trip to Porvoo Old Town in Porvoo (about 50 minutes away). Pack the 29th (Mon) with family-friendly diversions at Linnanmaki Amusement Park. There's still lots to do: get a new perspective on nature at Natural History Museum (Luonnontieteellinen Museo), explore the different monuments and memorials at Hietaniemi Cemetery, browse the eclectic array of goods at Hakaniemi Market, and test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms.

Fly from Inari to Helsinki in 4 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. In July, Helsinki is a bit warmer than Inari - with highs of 25°C and lows of 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
