Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Temppeliaukio Church. Get outdoors at Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Kivinokka. Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, visit Katajanokka, step off the mainland to explore Pihlajasaari Recreational Park, and appreciate the extensive heritage of The Esplanadi Park.

Valletta, Malta to Helsinki is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and ferry. Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Take a break from the city and head to Kurjenrahka National Park and Ispoinen Beach and Sauna. Get some cultural insight at Turku Castle and Turku Cathedral. There's much more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at The Archipelago Trail, admire the landmark architecture of Kuusisto Manor, take an in-depth tour of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova, and see the interesting displays at Pharmacy Museum and Qwensel House.
