Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. On the 12th (Tue), pause for some serene contemplation at Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church, examine the collection at Siida, and then admire the striking features of The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos.

Irkutsk, Russia to Inari is an approximately 20.5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference when traveling from Irkutsk to Inari is minus 6 hours. Vaasa is a city on the west coast of Finland. Kick off your visit on the 13th (Wed): stroll through Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage Site. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: see the interesting displays at Pohjanmaan Museo - Osterbottens Museum, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Bock’s Corner Brewery, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Mustasaaren kirkko, then examine the collection at Stundars Museum, and finally take in the exciting artwork at Tikanoja Art Museum.

Get some cultural insight at Laukko Manor and Haihara Art Centre. Your inner history buff will appreciate Visavuori and Amuri Museum of Workers' Housing. Step out of Tampere with an excursion to Linna Golf & Country Club in Haemeenlinna--about 1h 20 min away.
