Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali) will appeal to history buffs. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Helsinki Cathedral and Temppeliaukio Church. Take a break from Helsinki with a short trip to Nuuksio National Park in Espoo, about 48 minutes away. Algiers, Algeria to Helsinki is an approximately 14-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Algiers to Helsinki.
