Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Wed): enjoy the sand and surf at Vepsa Island, explore the historical opulence of Turku Castle, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Turku Cathedral. Kuusamo is a town and municipality in Finland. Start off your visit on the 4th (Fri): admire the masterpieces at Hannu Hautala Nature Photography Centre, stroll through Kiutakongas Rapids, and then hike along Pieni Karhunkierros Trail. Although predominately an industrial town, Imatra boasts a long and impressive history of tourism, largely owing to its fierce rapids, considered to have been Finland's first ever tourist attraction.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sun): take in the dramatic scenery at Imatra Waterfall, take in the spiritual surroundings of Church of St. Nicholas, then step off the mainland to explore Malonsaari, and finally explore the activities along Siikalahti Wetland. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 7th (Mon): step off the mainland to explore Lammassaari Island, then get outside with Atreenalin Seikkailupuistot, then take an in-depth tour of Wolkoff House Museum, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Nuijamaa Church.

Do a combination of flight and train from Kuusamo to Imatra in 5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Visiting Arboretum Mustila and Riverside Park will get you outdoors. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area and Santalahti Nature Trail. Take a break from Kotka with a short trip to Hiidenvuori in Iitti, about 1h 15 min away. Spend the 9th (Wed) exploring nature at Valkmusa National Park. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Linden Esplanade, stroll through Beach Mansikkalahti, and take in nature's colorful creations at Sapokka Water Garden.
