Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Get in touch with nature at Ispoinen Beach and Sauna and Vepsa Island. Get a sense of the local culture at Turku Castle and Turku Cathedral. Change things up with a short trip to Kurjenrahka National Park in Poytya (about 56 minutes away). There's still lots to do: enjoy some diversion at Moomin World, don't miss a visit to Naantali Church, trek along The Archipelago Trail, and explore the ancient world of Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova.

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
