Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Get in touch with nature at Beach Mansikkalahti and Arboretum Mustila. Visit St. John's Church and St. Nicholas Orthodox Church for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Kotka side-trips: Niivermaki Nature Conservation Area (in Kouvola) and Marian Kirkko (in Hamina). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Linden Esplanade, make a trip to Hamina Town Hall, contemplate the long history of Main Building of Military School, and pause for some serene contemplation at Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry.

Visit Mannerheim Museum and Temppeliaukio Church for their historical value. Get some cultural insight at Katajanokka and Sea Fortress Suomenlinna. There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Kansallisgalleria, take in the spiritual surroundings of Uspenskin Cathedral (Uspenskin Katedraali), identify plant and animal life at Laajalahti Nature Reserve, and take a stroll through Ullanlinna.

Sitting at the mouth of the Aura River, Turku is one of Finland's quaintest and most historically rich towns.
Get outdoors at Bellevue Beach and Ispoinen Beach and Sauna. Turku Cathedral and Galleria Joella are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Turku, make a side trip to see Teijo National Park in Pernio, approximately Pernio away. The adventure continues: step into the grandiose world of Turku Castle and enjoy the sand and surf at Vepsa Island.
