Kotka is a city and municipality of Finland.Kotka is located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland at the mouth of Kymi River and it is part of the Kymenlaakso region in southern Finland. Start off your visit on the 22nd (Sun): admire the striking features of Varissaari - Fort Elisabeth, then let little ones run wild at Katariina Seaside Park, and then hike along Santalahti Nature Trail. On the 23rd (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the natural beauty at Sibelius Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kotka Church, wander the streets of Linden Esplanade, pause for some photo ops at Kotka Sculpture Promenade, then take a stroll through Hamina Old Town, and finally admire the striking features of Hamina Town Hall.

Bremen, Germany to Kotka is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Central European Time (CET) to Eastern European Time (EET), which is usually a 1 hour difference. When traveling from Bremen in July, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Kotka: temperatures range from 24°C by day to 15°C at night. On the 24th (Tue), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Oulu.
