Finland's largest and most populated metropolis, the maritime town of Helsinki boasts varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights.
Sea Fortress Suomenlinna and Kansallisgalleria are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll explore and learn at The National Museum of Finland and Sinebrychoff Art Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Helsinki: Teijo National Park (in Pernio), Pyhtaa Church of Saint Henry (in Pyhtaa) and Kotka (Linden Esplanade, Lehman, &more). Spend the 24th (Sun) exploring nature at Ekenas Archipelago National Park. Spend the 1st (Mon) exploring nature at Sipoonkorven Kansallispuisto. Next up on the itinerary: learn more about the world around you at Natural History Museum (Luonnontieteellinen Museo), kick back and relax at Aurinkolahti Beach, pause for some serene contemplation at Helsinki Cathedral, and wander the streets of Ullanlinna.
