Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Kids will enjoy Santa Claus Village and Ranua Zoo. There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, make a trip to Lordi's Square, stop by LAURI Handicraft Shop & Atelier, and Head underground at Syvasenvaara Fell.

Kouvola is a town and municipality in southeastern Finland. Attractions like Repovesi National Park and World Heritage Site - Verla Groundwood and Board Mill make great kid-friendly stops.
