Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Explore Levi's surroundings by going to Lapland Hotels SnowVillage (in Kittila) and Muonio (Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park, Sarkitunturi, &more). Spend the 2nd (Thu) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's much more to do: relax and rejuvenate at KuruYoga Levi, don't miss a visit to Giewont Husky Adventures, and look for all kinds of wild species at Wildlife Areas.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Levi is an approximately 10-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from Central European Standard Time (CET) to Eastern European Standard Time (EET) is 1 hour. Traveling from Amsterdam in August, expect Levi to be a bit cooler, temps between 19°C and 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Inari.

Inari

Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Inari: Gold Prospector Museum (in Tankavaara) and Saariselka (Urho Kekkonen National Park & Lapland Safaris Saariselka). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Siida - Sami Museum and Nature Center, get great views at Otsamo Fell, head outdoors with Lake Inari, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel.

Getting from Levi to Inari by car takes about 4 hours. Other options: take a bus; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 13°C in September, and nighttime lows around 4°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) so you can drive to Luosto.

Rovaniemi

Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rovaniemi: Ranua Zoo (in Ranua) and Korouoma Canyon (in Posio). There's lots more to do: get engrossed in the history at Arktikum, examine the collection at Christmas House Santa, have fun at Santa Claus Office, and make a trip to Santa Claus Village.
