An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Syvasenvaara Fell and Santa's House of Snowmobiles. Step out of Rovaniemi to go to Ranua and see Ranua Zoo, which is approximately 1 hour away. There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of Auttikongas, take an in-depth tour of Rovaniemi Local History Museum, let the kids burn off some steam at Angry Birds Park, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Rovaniemi Church.

Levi

Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Sarestoniemi Museum and Giewont Husky Adventures. When in Levi, make a side trip to see Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park in Muonio, approximately Muonio away. Spend the 24th (Thu) on two wheels at Levi Ski Resort. There's still lots to do: experience rural life at Ounaskievari Reindeer Farm.

Inari

Discover out-of-the-way places like Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church and Polar Creek.
