Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church and Angeli Reindeer Farm. Your inner history buff will appreciate Saint Tryphon Pechenga Orthodox Church and Saariselka S:t Paulus Chapel. Nestled among vast forests and fells, Luosto represents a small idyllic resort village set on the edge of Pyha-Luosto National Park.Start off your visit on the 27th (Fri): view the masterpieces at Museum - Gallery Alariesto, then pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Sodankyla, and then look for all kinds of wild species at Luosto Adventures. An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.You'll discover tucked-away gems like Arctic Emotions Oy and The Provincial Museum Of Tornio Valley. Get a sense of the local culture at Santa's House of Snowmobiles and Arktikum. Go for a jaunt from Rovaniemi to Kemi to see Kemi Church about 1h 35 min away.
