Inari is Finland's largest, most sparsely populated municipality, with four official languages, more than any other in the country. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Pielpajarvi Wilderness Church and The Sami Cultural Centre Sajos. Finland's largest and most popular ski resort, the fell of Levi provides excellent slopes and lively nightlife in an enchanting setting.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Sarestoniemi Museum and Giewont Husky Adventures. Change things up with a short trip to Nature & Wildlife Tours in Kittila (about 50 minutes away). Official Hometown of Santa Claus

An urban center set amongst the great Arctic wilderness, Rovaniemi serves as the capital of Lapland province.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Syvasenvaara Fell and Auttikongas. Change things up with a short trip to Tatuka Reindeerfarm in Ylitornio (about 38 minutes away). There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Korundi House of Culture, get lost in a book at Rovaniemi City Library, have some family-friendly fun at Snowman World Igloo Hotel, and examine the collection at Christmas House Santa.
