Joensuu is a city and municipality in North Karelia in the province of Eastern Finland. Discover out-of-the-way places like Utra Beach and Utransaari/ The Utra Island. Take a break from the city and head to Honkaniemi Beach and Kolvananuuro. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Joensuu: Kitee Zoo (in Kitee), Ilomantsi (Mohko Ironworks Museum & Parppeinvaaran Runokyla) and Old Mine Mining Museum (in Outokumpu).
